Route 66 Vacation!

Here is a fun pattern, I mixed up some of the items but they are either from "Route 66 Vacation Boys" or "Route 66 Vacation Girls" by Too Cute By Jessica.

Western Cowgirl Magnetic Easel

Here is a project I had a lot of fun doing. I took a magnetic easel and turned it into a western cowgirl scene. I bought some of these easel's several years ago from a friend (Andrea Cloutier) who produced them. I used the "Western Cowgirl" cutting file from KaDoodle Bug Designs except for the fence and horse. I started by covering the entire easel with patterned paper. I reinforced the paper piecings with cardboard and put magnets on the back of them and I can move them around however I want. Or I can use it as a board to put notes or whatever on and use the piecings to hold them on to the board.

SHS Indians 2012-13 State Champs!

Here is a 12 x 12 layout I made using the KaDoodle Bug Designs "We Got Team Spirit" file. This layout is for my Daughter who is on the Varsity Cheer Squad at her high school and they won the State Competition for 2012-2013. It is a huge accomplishment as they compete against other teams (High Schools) from around Colorado. Since they are the Indians, I included a red, black and white feather.

Summer FaceBook FanPage Hop = Success!

Over the weekend us Design Team Members for KaDoodle Bug Designs had a FaceBook FanPage Hop. There were 17 of us and everyone did such nice projects. My total likes on my Fanpage went up because of the hop too, so it was a successful hop. I also could not ask for better design team members to do this with.

Here are the projects I used for the hop.

My Camping Memories is a 2 page 12x12 layout. I used the "Let's Go Camping" cutting file from KaDoodle Bug Designs. This was a fun file to work with.

It feels like it has been forever since I blogged anything. This is my brand new blog. For my first post I would like to share some things I recently made. All patterns in this post are from Little Scraps of Heaven Designs.

Originally from the East Coast, I love anything Nautical. My kitchen is decorated in a East Coast Nautical theme. This will be a nice addition to it once it is framed.

 All of my paper piecings are hand cut right now. I have to take the plunge and get an electric cutter.

My daughter, Anissa had five graduation parties to attend in May. Here are the cards I made for them.
